oveRVIEW – Never Forget
Noway Again opens with poor Lou Diamond Phillips hanging from a huntsman’s mesh by one leg and also falling down and not flashing back anything about how he might have gotten there. Along comes Kris Holden- Ried bearing a armament and criminating Lou of being a killer, specifically of his woman . The two also tramp through the forestland with Holden- Ried holding a gun on Phillips who can not flash back anything, but like Gregory Peck in Mirage, bits and pieces start coming back.
Would that this film which was shot in Canada standing in for the forestland of Northern Michigan was partial as good as Mirage. After a while you are starting not watch who might have done what. The ending still is a surprise of feathers and in a real minor key, no dramatic corners then.
Lou mistook a Canadian goose and wound up with a Canadian lemon.
